AI and your data

Your email stays yours. AI works for your workspace — nothing else.

Exactly which AI models CommsRadar uses, what they do, and the limits we put on them.

Part of Security & Privacy. The Privacy Policy remains the formal document.

Models in use

The AI models we use, and what for.

OpenAI GPT-6 Luna

Sorting new email into Needs action / Info, short summaries of action emails, payment details, and checking borderline spam. Also used to take notes when Ask covers a large set of emails.

OpenAI GPT-6.1 Sol

Ask answers (default) and Translate to English. A workspace may be set to a different model from the same OpenAI family for Ask.

Models are reached through an AI gateway that keeps no record of what it is sent, and both are configured so the provider stores no copy of your email — there is nothing retained to train on. Emails you send and attachment contents are not analysed. If we change models, this page is updated.

Our commitment

No training. No other purpose.

  • Never used for training: CommsRadar does not use your email to train AI models, and does not permit the AI models it uses to be trained on your email.
  • Only for your workspace: email is sent to a model only to produce a label, summary, payment detail, spam check, Ask answer or translation for the people allowed to see that mailbox.
  • Permissions always apply: AI only ever works on mailboxes the requesting person can access. Private mailboxes stay private to AI too.
  • No selling or advertising: email content is never sold, shared for advertising or used to build profiles.

People

EU Systems Ltd does not read your email.

EU Systems Ltd, which operates CommsRadar, does not access, read or analyse your email content in any way outside what the CommsRadar application does automatically for the users of your workspace. This applies without exception — including for support.

If you need help with a specific email, you choose what to share with us.

Before CommsRadar

What we can't control.

Email passes through other systems before it reaches CommsRadar: the sender's mail servers, and your own provider such as Google, Microsoft or your IMAP host. Those services store and process your email under their own terms and policies, which CommsRadar cannot control.

Our commitments on this page apply from the moment an email enters your CommsRadar workspace.

Google user data

Google API Limited Use.

CommsRadar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Questions about AI.

Is my email used to train AI models?

No. CommsRadar does not use your email to train AI models, and does not permit the AI models it uses to be trained on your email. Requests go through an AI gateway that keeps no record of the message it carries, and both models we use are configured so the provider retains no copy of your email — nothing is left behind to train on. Email reaches a model only to produce a result for your workspace, never a consumer chat app.

Is a copy of my email kept by the AI provider?

No. The AI gateway we use stores nothing, and both models are set to zero data retention, so the provider keeps no copy of the message or of the answer it returns. The email exists only while the request is being processed.

Which AI models does CommsRadar use?

OpenAI GPT-6 Luna for sorting, summaries, payment details and borderline spam checks, and OpenAI GPT-6.1 Sol for Ask and Translate. A workspace may use a different OpenAI model for Ask.

Do EU Systems Ltd staff read my email?

No, with no exceptions. EU Systems Ltd does not access, read or analyse email content outside what the CommsRadar application does automatically for the people in your workspace.

Can CommsRadar control what Google or Microsoft see?

No. Your email provider (Google, Microsoft or your IMAP provider) and the servers that delivered a message handle it before it reaches CommsRadar, under their own terms. CommsRadar's commitments start once the email is in your workspace.
